The Sounds of Christmas
Verse 1
Do you hear the sounds of Christmas around you?
Do you know the reason we celebrate?
Do you know the story told through the ages?
Do you wanna hear it in a brand new way?
Chorus
When you hear it, you’ll know it.
Then you get to tell it to the world that Christ is born.
So listen and learn it.
Then you get to tell it to the world that Christ is born.
Lend an ear and you will hear the sounds of Christmas.
Verse 2
Hark! Hear the march to the city of David.
Hark! Hear the baby Jesus is born.
Hark! Hear the angels tell of His coming.
Hark! Hear it like you’ve never heard it before.
Chorus
When you hear it, you’ll know it.
Then you get to tell it to the world that Christ is born.
So listen and learn it.
Then you get to tell it to the world that Christ is born.
Lend an ear and you will hear, lend and ear and you will hear,
The sounds of Christmas.
Bridge
We’re passing down the truth we know the greatest story ever told.
How God so loved the world He gave His Son.
Here to spread the news of what He’s done, what He’s done!

So listen and learn it.
Then you get to tell it to the world that Christ is born. (2x’s)

The sounds of Christmas.

The sounds of Christmas. The sounds of Christmas. It’s Christmas!
My Herd Heard
Verse 1
My herd heard the stories passed down through the years.
Promises and prophesies, God’s plan to send Messiah here.
Verse 2
God would use a census to carry out His plan,
‘Cause He had said that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem.
Chorus 1
And then they heard, God’s Word, believed that it was true.
They heard God’s Word, and trusted He’d come through.
So when they were told to hit the road, it might have seemed absurd,
But they followed Him in faith ‘cause they heard God’s Word.
Verse 3
It was loud and crowded when they got to town,
Tried to find a place to stay, but everybody turned’em down.
Verse 4
There in the confusion, chaos, and the noise.
They knew God would find a place to have their baby Boy.
Chorus 2
You know they heard, God’s Word, believed that it was true.
They heard God’s Word, and trusted He’d come through.
So when they were told to hit the road, it might have seemed absurd,
But they followed Him in faith ‘cause they heard God’s Word.
Bridge
So when it might sound crazy to trust God and obey,
Think about the journey Jesus’ family took back in the day.
Chorus 1
And then they heard, God’s Word, believed that it was true.
They heard God’s Word, and trusted He’d come through.
So when they were told to hit the road, it might have seemed absurd,
But they followed Him in faith ‘cause they heard God’s Word.
Ending
So when they were told to hit the road, it might have seemed absurd,
But they followed Him in faith ‘cause they heard God’s Word.
They heard God’s Word. They heard God’s Word.
They followed Him in faith ‘cause they heard God’s Word.

I love Thee, Lord Jesus; look down from the sky, and stay by my cradle till morning is nigh.

It’s Christmas! The bells are ringing, and I feel like shouting, “Joy to the world!”

Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care, and fit us for heaven, to live with Thee there.

Tell It!
Opening
I have a story that’s deep in my heart, and I’m gonna tell it,
Yes, I’ll do my part to tell about donkeys and camels and sheep,
cattle who mooed so loud no one could sleep.
But mostly, I’ll tell of the Baby who came, and then I will tell everybody His name.
